I haven’t posted anything in while so here is a weekend shoot I did with the beautiful Irina & Julie Cojocaru. I did this shoot around Georges Quay close to the CHQ building the weather was really good, a little too good. It was so warm which is good but the problem was how bright it was I couldn’t use my favorite settings and lens. But I still got a pretty good result. # Weekend
Weekend Feels
As always I kept everything really simple. I focused on my subjects letting them set the mood and it didn’t take very long for me to snap “money shots” after “money shots”. The girls looked so cool with the mirrored sunglasses. They inspire me to go online shopping for some accessories.
I’ve ordered more mirrored sunglasses with different shapes and designs, can’t wait for it to arrive! As I said I really like the results, but I still think my pictures are a little bit inconsistent on how they look. Sometimes I feel like I should step away from digital photography. I think film would keep me from over thinking the processing of the pictures. I have my eyes on a Nikon F60 film camera with 35-80mm f4 lens.
Still researching, but it looks like it’ll give me the look I often try replicate on PS Cs6. I still have a bunch of photo-shoots I want to share here. As soon as I’m done, I’ll dive into film photography for real! I’m pretty sure it will be great for me.
